Sharon Staples

Sharon Lee Staples is a convert to the Church. Soon after joining the Church, Sharon decided to serve at the Andes Peru Mission. After her mission, Sharon earned a degree in sociology and received a PhD in educational psychology. Currently, Sharon is a retired college professor. She has served in many Church positions including temple worker, nursery leader, as a member of the Young Women General Board, a teacher at the women’s prison, and a docent at the Church History Museum and Family History centers. She enjoys woodworking and gardening.

Lindsey Williams is senior manager of career development at BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Previous stops in her career include web editor with LDS Living, the Special Projects Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Utah Valley Magazine. The Colorado Springs native enjoys hiking and reading.

Shelly Johnson-Choong, MSW, is a therapist with a private practice in Washington State. Shelly specializes in helping clients through anxiety, depression, and women's issues (including infertility), caregiving, and other challenges facing Latter-day Saints.

Alisia Essig lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and six children. She is a Pilates instructor and previously worked as a communications director on Capitol Hill. After her husband’s stroke, Alisia became a nutritionist and founded a company where she helps individuals eat more plant-based foods so that they can enjoy healthier lives.
