Amy Sackett grew up in Orem, Utah, USA. She attended college at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. In 2005, she served a mission in Utica New York, where she loved sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ every chance she got. She believes there is nothing more important in life than to love God and to love people. Amy and her husband, Alan, live in Holladay, Utah, USA, with their four wonderful children whom they adore. When she has a free minute you can find her enjoying some pebble ice, reading a book, or building a friendship.

Allison Grant Dayton designed jewelry for the TV series Grey’s Anatomy and for companies like Athleta, Sundance Catalog, and Deseret Book. In 2015, she followed spiritual promptings to stay home and help her boys through the perils of high school. During these last precious years, Allison’s oldest brother, who was gay, took his own life. At the same time, her oldest son was starting his own process of coming out. Having watched her brother’s painful life and wanting much more for her amazing son, Allison started Lift and Love, an Instagram account, to reframe how we see our LGBTQ Latter-day Saints. In the two years since, Lift and Love has become a foundation supporting hundreds of LGBTQ Latter-day Saint Families, like her own. Allison and her husband, Kenn, have a daughter, two sons, and one son-in-law. They live in Salt Lake at the base of Mount Olympus with their dog, eight chickens, and open doors for friends and their large extended families.

Ben Gaughran grew up in Birmingham, England in the United Kingdom. in 2007, he served a mission in the England London South Mission. He attended university at The Royal Holloway College, University of London where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree. He spent seven years as a high school music teacher and senior administrator in London, England. Ben is married to Kerry Gaughran, and they currently live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, where Ben attends graduate school studying Choral Conducting. Ben loves singing, playing the piano, and traveling with his wife and four beautiful children.

Mark J. Lusvardi recently served as the President of the Illinois Nauvoo Mission. He is the former Director of Public Programs for the Missionary Department. He had responsibility for Visitors' Centers, Historic Sites, and Pageants worldwide. He also worked with Temple Open Houses, live events, and missionary training.

Kara is a dedicated disciple of Christ, patient spouse, and ever-loving mother. Her dedication to her family is unparalleled and she strives every day to make sure they all know how much she loves them. Being the mother of Grace is the fulfillment of an eternal dream. Kara has a love for fitness and loves creating yummy vegan dishes for her family. When she isn't taking care of her family or serving in Young Women, you can find her building her business. Kara and her sister co-founded a home decor business in 2020, House of Turnberry. They thoughtfully curate beautiful ribbon sets and pour their hearts into all facets of their business. In those few moments that she has to herself, Kara loves to organize, decorate and be a personal shopper for her friends and family.

Neylan McBaine is the co-founder and CEO of Better Days 2020, a non-profit focused on popularizing women’s history in creative and communal ways. She has written or contributed to several books, including her most recent, Pioneering the Vote: The Untold Story of Suffragists in Utah and the West.
