John Hilton III is a professor of Religious Education at BYU. He and his wife, Lani, have six children. They have lived in Boise, Boston, Miami, Mexico, Jerusalem, and China. Currently, they live in Utah. John has authored several books, including Voices in the Book of Mormon: Discovering Distinctive Witnesses of Jesus Christ and Considering the Cross.
Janelle Gardiner is a daughter, sister, favorite aunt, friend, respiratory therapist, professor, traveler, volunteer, and self-proclaimed comedian. She spends her professional time as full-time faculty in the Respiratory Therapy Department at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Janelle earned a Doctor of Health Science degree at A. T. Still University, a Master’s of Respiratory Care Leadership at Northeastern University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Respiratory Therapy at Weber State University. She is involved in leadership positions with Utah state and national professional organizations. Recently, she was honored by being inducted as a Fellow with the American Association for Respiratory Care.
Lisa Higginbotham Anderson studied biology at Brigham Young University and holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge. She enjoys rowing, teaching, and working in maternal health. Lisa and her family recently relocated to New Zealand.
Michelle Wilson is an inspirational nonfiction author and speaker who lives in the Northwest. She loves the gospel, her family, and good food. She also enjoys freelance writing and podcasting.
Gaylamarie Rosenberg is an adjunct professor in the Department of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University. She earned a BS in elementary education and a MS degree in family sciences/family life education and human development from BYU. She has been teaching classes on relationships and religion since 1991 and currently teaches the Eternal Family course. She is the author of “Our Savior from Self-Doubt,” a book focused on the power of positive psychology and our ability to overcome feelings of self-doubt through the love and strength of Jesus Christ. She has enjoyed assignments on the BYU Women’s Conference Committee and participated as a member in the BYU-Public School Partnership. Gaylamarie and her husband, John, are the parents of two daughters, a son-in-law, and 2 grand-dogs.
Kaylen Walton Nelson, originally from eastern Utah, graduated from Uintah High School in 2008. She earned her degree in Family History and Genealogy from BYU. One of the most memorable experiences during her education was a semester abroad in Jerusalem, which ignited her passion for scripture and the Holy Land. Kaylen followed in her father’s footsteps and was hired to teach seminary full-time in 2013. Kaylen earned a master’s degree from the University of Utah in Teacher Leadership and Policy. She taught seminary for nine years at Brighton, Olympus, and Corner Canyon High Schools before taking a position on the BYU Religion Faculty as a visiting instructor. Kaylen and her husband Graden reside in American Fork Utah. They recently welcomed their first child, Louis, in early 2023.

Jen and Mike Lindsay currently live in Humble, Texas (suburb of Houston). Jen was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with a degree in Nutrition Sciences. She then received her Master's degree from Texas Women's University, also in Nutrition Sciences, and is currently a Registered Dietician in private practice. Mike was raised in Houston, Texas where he was baptized into the Church at the age of 19. Mike served a mission in Oklahoma City, returned home and received his undergraduate degree from BYU and went on to receive his MBA from Texas A&M University, and is currently a financial consultant.
Valleda Woodhall was born in Lancashire, England. Early on her parents recognized her love for dance, this led her to musical dance where she performed on the London stage for 6 years. Valleda met John Woodhall while on theater break. John came to America to pursue a golf career and Valleda followed shortly after to marry him and start their new life in America. Valleda is the mother to twins Ty & Tava, a grandmother to eight 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. When she isn’t working, she’s cooking and baking for her family. She is known for her incredible pies and had the opportunity to make a very special Peach pie for Elder Bednar when he visited a few years ago. Truly a highlight. Valleda and John were baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when they were 80 years old and then sealed in the Gilbert Temple. They have enjoyed serving & learning all they can about the gospel.
