Stacey is the wife of Casey and the mother to Navey. She has a degree in PR from the University of Utah. She loves to travel and has been able to enjoy many cultural experiences around the world. Stacey believes in miracles and was blessed to be the recipient of a double lung transplant from a donor & family to whom she will always be thankful. She loves her family but especially her Savior as she, like all of us, is on a journey to try to be a little more like Him every day.
Linda was born and raised in beautiful Southern California where she developed a deep love for surf, sand, sun, and chips n salsa! When she was seventeen years old she received a letter from a then unknown missionary headed to Portugal to serve a full time mission. A mere 2 1/2 years later she married her “pen pal” in the Los Angeles, California temple. Shane is still her favorite person in the world 41 years later. Time with her family is Linda’s greatest pleasure. Linda can also be found spending time enjoying the outdoors, traveling, learning with friends but mostly sitting at her desk studying the scriptures.
Diane grew up the oldest of 7 in a military family. Moving every 3-4 years was hard but it prepared her for opportunities that have shaped her life. Diane is a wife, a mother to 4 amazing children, and grandmother of 15. Diane's happy place is at a baseball game, boating, being by the ocean, or in the great State of Texas! A love for sewing and quilting, handed down to her from her mother and grandmother fills the spare time. Diane is forever grateful for opportunities to be taught and mentored by some amazing women and friends in the gospel. Often referred to as a “study nerd,” she considers it a great compliment.
Whitney Owens Hemsath is the author of Types, Shadows, and Casseroles: Finding Christ in Your Daily Life. In addition to writing inspirational nonfiction, she writes poetry, short stories, and other fiction in a variety of genres. She currently lives in Utah with her husband and four sons. When she isn’t busy being a wife, mom, and author, she enjoys teaching the gospel, doing cardio dance, and eating frozen BYU mint brownies.
Jackie has learned that good things come to those who wait and pray. She is a convert to the Church and waited 11 years from the day of her baptism to marry her husband Blair in the Washington D.C. Temple. Almost 4 ½ years later, they welcomed their dear son Collwyn into their family. They now have a sweet daughter-in-law Kadrie and a precious grandson, Oliver. Jackie has served in the Church in the Primary and the Relief Society as well as serving in other callings. She enjoys cooking and baking, reading, knitting, and spending time with family and friends whether on the phone or in person. She is still waiting and praying for more good things to come in her life.
Jon Propper and his wife Lindsay live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Jon serves his ward as a Sunday School instructor. A recent graduate of Maharishi International University, Jon is a teaching assistant in the field of South Asian studies and a language tutor. In partnership with leading Autistic advocacy organizations, Jon writes and vlogs about life as an Autistic adult: finding work, solving communication problems, and navigating relationships. As the first member of the Church of Jesus Christ in his family, one of Jon’s favorite subjects is disability support and the restored gospel.
