Any help appreciated.” His appearance–ragged clothes that looked lived-in for weeks, long scraggly beard–was typical of the many homeless we often see in Provo/Orem, usually on busy street corners or near bustling commercial centers.
What a beautiful story of how hope can provide us with healing that reaches beyond the physical.
I love news! There, it is out in the open. I have several news sites I visit at least once and sometimes multiple times a day to keep my fix. I was, for example overjoyed when I heard the news of a possible averting of all-out war in Syria. I pray daily for peace and speak to everyone I know to convince them of the futility of conflict and sin. The type of peace I attempt to sow in my corner of the country though is not that of a mere ceasefire or armistice by one or several nations, which lasts only until they find another reason to attempt to “stimulate” their respective economies via war, but the type given by the Master to His disciples in John 14:27:
