The Church recently made several technological developments to instantaneously distribute media including Mormon Channel radio, redesigns of LDS.org and Mormon.org, and a strong presence on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Another innovation is the recent launch of the Church's own Roku Channel. A Roku Player is a 1-by-5-inch box that enables instant play of various entertainment channels to stream movies, shows, news, radio and other entertainment through televisions.
To some Jews, Muslims and Amish, a beard connotes piety and religious compliance. It can signal a man's identity and sign of affiliation. For Mormons, though, it has another meaning entirely. Lewis beat Pearce 53% to 46%.

Since that time, he has been working with the school's dean of students as part of the process of re-enrolling and rejoining the Cougars. Fall semester classes at BYU start Monday.
Dawn Meehan doesn't go many places where she doesn't get recognized as a contestant on "Survivor: South Pacific." "Everyone has been so supportive," the South Jordan adoptive mother and Brigham Young University English professor said in a phone interview just after the episode aired where she was eliminated from the game. "It is a tiny taste of what it may be like to be famous."
