The Harare Zimbabwe Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints opens its doors this week for public tours. The open house will be held from Thursday, January 22, through Saturday, February 7, 2026, excluding Sundays.

Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will dedicate the temple on March 1, 2026. The dedicatory session will be broadcast to all congregations in the Harare Zimbabwe Temple district.

A media day is being held Monday, January 19, 2026, and invited guests will tour the temple January 20 and 21, 2026.

This house of the Lord will be the first in the country.
