This year, seven world-class BYU performing groups—Vocal Point & Noteworthy, Theatre Ballet, Living Legends, Young Ambassadors, Ballroom Dance Company, Contemporary Dance Theatre, and the International Folk Dance Ensemble—will light up the Salt Lake Valley with their exceptional talent and artistry.

Winterfest 2025 is a much-anticipated annual event celebrating BYU’s finest in music and5 dance, running from January 14 to March 25 at the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center in Taylorsville. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Ballroom Dance Company opens the celebration on January 14–15 with Rhythm, an innovative, captivating, and fun-filled show that has wowed audiences worldwide.
  • Living Legends takes the stage January 28–29, blending the vibrant rhythms of Polynesia, Native American legends, and the energetic spirit of Latin America into the dazzling performance, Seasons.
  • Theatre Ballet presents the classic Giselle on January 30, with stunning choreography and enchanting costumes that will leave audiences spellbound.
  • Young Ambassadors perform Imagine on February 25–26, an emotional rollercoaster of song and dance that’s vibrant, uplifting, and unforgettable.
  • Vocal Point & Noteworthy showcase their a cappella artistry and dynamic stage presence in back-to-back shows on February 27.
  • Contemporary Dance Theatre brings a fresh perspective on communication and human connection through powerful and playful choreography on March 4.
  • International Folk Dance Ensemble closes Winterfest on March 25-26, presenting traditional dances from over a dozen nations with vibrant costumes and cultural flair.
