If you’re looking for activities and games for families and youth of all ages – there’s something for you at RootsTech – the world’s largest family celebration event, happening February 26 – 29 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hosted by FamilySearch, RootsTech is a global conference geared to help you connect with family – past, present, and future.

Throughout the week of RootsTech, there are a number of activities and events planned specially for members of the Church and their families.

Free Youth Activities | Wednesday, February 26, 6-8 P.M.

Youth and youth groups are invited to the Salt Palace on Wednesday, February 26 for fun activities and games. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate family connections, learn new things, accomplish personal goals, and make friends. Parents and youth leaders who are interested in coming with their youth can learn more here.

Young Adult After-Party | Friday, February 28, 7 P.M. to 12 A.M.

Young Adults are invited to the RootsTech after-party on Friday, February 28, to celebrate family and culture and to connect with friends. The after-party features interactive games, dancing, an escape room, and a special performance by comedian Ryan Hamilton.

Family Discovery Day | Saturday, February 29, 9:30 A.M.

Elder Gary E. Stevenson and his wife, Sister Lesa Stevenson, will be the featured speakers at the popular RootsTech Family Discovery Day. This is a free one-day event for families and church members. In addition to hearing from the Stevenson’s, you can:

- Attend the RootsTech general keynote session and hear from Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, Emmitt Smith

- Experience the RootsTech expo hall, where families and friends can create visual family trees, recreate family history photos, and participate in other fun games
