Dr. Gileadi is widely considered the world’s foremost expert on the writings of Isaiah. As an Israeli citizen and fluent in the Hebrew language, he studied in Rabbinical school in Jerusalem and learned “the manner of the Jews” to deciphering ancient scripture. It was there that he came across an unusual book—The Book of Mormon—and was “filled with light” every time he read it. He knew it was authentic but knew no members of the Church in Jerusalem. Eventually, he met Latter-day Saint graduate students who taught him and was later baptized in the pool of Siloam. After emigrating to the United States, he earned a Ph.D. in Ancient Studies under BYU scholar Hugh Nibley. He continued his ground-breaking research for 40 years and “cracked the code” of the remarkable book of Isaiah and the keys to understanding all ancient scripture. He has since shared his unique findings in more than a dozen books on Isaiah and his end-time message for our day.
