If an album was a memoir, this would be a soundtrack to the life of pianist and songwriter Paul Cardall. The Anthem Records recording artists’ evolution continues with the release of The Broken Miracle, a title inspired by his true-to-life story of being born with a congenital heart defect, and the life-long challenges that coincide. The Broken Miracle album is based on a biographical fiction novel of the same name. Written by J.D. Netto, the book will be released on February 2, with the album following on February 5.

The Broken Miracle is an autobiographical collection of both instrumental and vocal compositions, which follow a timeline of Cardall’s life, beginning with a piece titled “A Blue Baby.” Infants born with congenital heart defects are often referred to as “blue babies” by their doctors. Other titles from the project include “The Man With Half A Heart,” “A Beautiful Mind,” “Some Kind of Wonderful,” and the title track, all building upon Cardall’s life story. The project culminates in the inspiring message of “We Could Be Kind.”

Cardall has collaborated with some iconic performers for The Broken Miracle, dueting with David Archuleta, Tyler Glenn, Thompson Square, Ty Herndon, Matt Hammitt, Rachael Yamagata, Trevor Price, Akelee and J Daniel.

The Dove Award-winning performer has garnered over 3 billion streams globally. A prolific songwriter, composer and producer, Cardall is eager for his fans to hear his new album. During his stellar career Cardall has achieved 11 #1, and 21 Top-10 albums on the Billboard charts. 10 years ago he received a heart transplant and continues to thrive as a father, husband and artist.
