Ruth Raelene Hill, wife of Ghana Accra West Mission President Norman C. Hill, passed away on Sunday, November 8 from a medical condition. Born in Ogden, Utah, her Church service first took her to Texas, where her husband served as a counselor in the Texas Houston Mission. Later she traveled to Ghana in July of 2013 when her husband was called as the mission president over the Ghana Accra West Mission.

She was the mother of five children, who will miss her dearly.

About her death, Church spokesman Eric Hawkins said:

Sister Ruth Raelene Hill, beloved wife of President Norman C. Hill of the Ghana Accra West Mission, passed away due to a medical condition on Sunday, November 8th. President and Sister Hill are from the Klein Texas Stake and have served together as he has presided over the mission since July of 2013. They are deeply loved by their family, Church leaders, and their missionaries. We pray for each of them at this difficult time and extend our love to President Hill and his family.
