At the beginning of the year, Ashley Gardner posted a video of herself hiding in the pantry, saying, "Dad is out shoveling the driveway. Mom desperately needed a treat to get through the rest of the night. So I'm hiding in the pantry, eating a treat. Is that wrong?"

This 34-second snippet, that ends with one of Gardner's quadruplets peeking under the door, quickly went viral as parents all over the world identified with this young mother and her struggles.

It turns out Ashley Gardner's video even caught the eye of Ellen DeGeneres, who just had to have the family on the show.

The parents of quadruplets, Ashley and Tyson Gardner initially didn't know if they would be able to have children. But, after in vitro fertilization, the Gardners suddenly found themselves expecting four children.

Because of their struggles as well as the current craziness they experience as the parents of four toddlers, Ellen decided to give the Gardners a few epic surprises: a portable closet that Ashley can escape to whenever she needs and a much-needed vacation—a family trip to Hawaii.
