Elder Joseph Dresden Empey has finally returned to his home in Santa Clara, Utah, after what has been a long journey of recovery. Elder Empey is the first of the four missionaries injured in the Brussels bombings on March 22 to return home.

He was released from the University Hospital Wednesday evening, after which, he received a police escort to his house where dozens lined the streets to welcome him home.
