- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the location of the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Temple. The temple, which was announced in April 2020 by Church President Russell M. Nelson, will be built on a 5.80-acre site located at 2093 Powell Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 32,000 square feet with a center spire.
