The Singapore Temple will be built on a one-acre site located at 233 Pasir Panjang Road in Singapore. Plans call for a two-story temple of approximately 18,000 square feet. A meetinghouse with an arrival center will be constructed adjacent to the temple.

The Singapore Temple was first announced during the April 2021 general conference by Church President Russell M. Nelson. Less than two years before, on a visit to Singapore in November 2019, President Nelson said he prayed for a day when the Saints there would have a temple of their own.

It will be the first temple constructed in Singapore, a sovereign island city-state in maritime Southeast Asia. This house of the Lord will serve members in Singapore and other countries in the region.

The Modesto California Temple will be built on a 17.63-acre site adjacent to an existing meetinghouse located at 4300 Dale Rd., Modesto, California. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 30,000 square feet.

The Modesto California Temple was announced on April 3, 2022, by Church President Russell M. Nelson.

California is home to more than 730,000 Latter-day Saints in nearly 1,200 congregations. The Modesto Temple will join nine more temples in operation, under construction, or announced in the state of California: Feather River, Fresno, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Oakland, Redlands, Sacramento, San Diego, and Yorba Linda.
