3 new temple sites announced, 4 new temple renderings released

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently released location information for three new temples—the Santiago West Chile Temple, the Austin Texas Temple, and the Cleveland Ohio Temple—and beautiful artist renderings for four additional temples—the Kaohsiung Taiwan Temple, the Singapore Temple, the Knoxville Tennesee Temple, and the Modesto California Temple.

Santiago West Chile Temple

The Church’s newest temple in Chile—the Santiago West Chile Temple—will be built at Primo de Rivera 1551, Comuna de Maipu, Santiago, Chile. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 12,500 square feet. This will be the fourth temple in Chile, following a temple in Santiago dedicated in 1983, and temples under construction in Concepción and Antofagasta.

Cleveland Ohio Temple

The new Cleveland Ohio Temple will be built at Brecksville Rd., south of Longano Dr., Independence, Cuyahoga County, Ohio 44131. The temple in Cleveland will be a single-story temple, approximately 9,900 square feet in size. The Columbus Ohio Temple is currently under renovation.

Austin Texas Temple

The Austin Texas Temple will be a 30,000-square-foot, single-story temple, built on a 10.6-acre site adjacent to an existing meetinghouse located at 1801 E. Park Street, Cedar Park, Texas. The Church’s temple in Austin is one of eight temples in operation, announced, or under construction in Texas.
