Amber Lynn Stoppel auditioned in Denver, with a friend accompanying her on the guitar. In December, Stoppel performed in the Salt Lake City Mass Choir’s Christmas Celebration.

She posted a picture of a golden ticket on Instagram, indicating she's moving to next round of the competition in Los Angeles.

Well I'm so sorry that they didn't show our audition (yet😉) but I'm so excited to finally share that we are going to HOLLYWOOD!!! And I can't believe I get to go on this awesome journey with my best friend. No one else in this competition is luckier. #IdolPremiere #idolauditions #hollywood #goldenticket A photo posted by Amber Lynn (@amberlynnmusic) on Jan 6, 2016 at 8:25pm PST
