4 Powerful & Daunting Warnings About Money and 'Success' From Hugh Nibley

Our fulfillment should come from being good and doing good.

"Those who have something to give to humanity revel in their work, and do not have to rationalize, advertise, or evangelize to make themselves feel good about what they are doing.”

When we are truly aligning our will with the Lord’s and doing His work, we do not seek praise. We do not seek recognition, or to gain beyond that which enables us to further help the kingdom. (AKA others.)

Most of the time, if you have to rationalize something, you should examine why. Because we’re all very good at rationalizing, and not so great at being honest about where we’re at in the eyes of the Lord.
