Work on a new temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose members are known as Mormons, is well underway at the intersection of Timberline and Trilby roads. In time, the clanging of tools and roaring of machinery will give way to tranquility and sacred rites. Temples are special places for the Mormon faithful, said Eric Adams, public affairs director for the new temple.
