Read David Butler's new book, 'Spirit,' for LDS Living's October Book Club

by | Oct. 01, 2020

Although anyone can feel the power of the Holy Ghost and be guided by it, it's not until we are baptized that we are promised the gift of the Holy Ghost: the ability for the Spirit to stay with us at all times if we are worthy to receive Him. This is a promise so incredible that at times it can be hard to wrap our minds around, much less apply. What, exactly, does it mean to have the gift of the Holy Ghost daily, and how can it help us?

For our October LDS Living Book Club pick, we will be reading David Butler's newest book, Spirit: The Gift that Connects You to Heaven. Rounding out his series on the godhead, Spirit follows David Butler's books Almighty and Redeemer, and asks us as readers what the companionship of the Holy Ghost can really mean in our lives.

This book is perfect for both teens and adults alike! With visually exciting pages, David Butler pushes us to dig deep, analyze our own lives, and truly find how the Holy Ghost can bless us beyond measure. Here are a few examples of what this great book contains:
