Macin Smith, a 17-year-old senior from Saint George, Utah, has been missing since September 1. He was last seen that Tuesday morning getting ready for school, but his mother, Tracey Smith, was unsure whether or not he made it on the school bus.
Since that time, the Saint George Police Department has received tips that Smith was seen on I-15 trying to hitch hike to Las Vegas.
Red Rock Search and Rescue in Las Vegas, Nevada, are now looking for the teen. Sixty volunteers spent hours Sunday searching the Strip for Smith.
So far, Red Rock Search and Rescue has received tips regarding three sightings of Smith, who now appears to be traveling with a woman. Macin Smith is 6'4 with blonde hair and blue eyes. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, call 702-828-3111 or 435-256-5509.
