Big news for new temples in Utah, Guatemala, Argentina, and Mexico

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released the open house and dedication dates for the Cobán Guatemala, Salta Argentina, and Taylorsville Utah Temples. They also announced the location of the Cuernavaca Mexico Temple.

Taylorsville Utah Temple

The house of the Lord in Taylorsville will open to the public on Saturday, April 13, 2024. The open house will go through Saturday, May 18, 2024 (excluding Sundays). Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will dedicate the temple on Sunday, June 2, 2024, in two sessions (10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. MDT). The dedicatory sessions will be broadcast to all units in the Taylorsville Utah Temple district.

Cobán Guatemala Temple

A public open house will run from Thursday, April 25, through Saturday, May 11, excluding Sundays. Before the public open house, a media day will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024. Invited guests will tour the temple from April 23–24.

Salta Argentina Temple

The public is invited to tour the Salta Argentina Temple from Friday, May 3, through Saturday, May 18, 2024, excluding Sundays. Prior to the public open house, a media day will occur on Tuesday, April 30, and other invited guests will visit on May 1 and May 2. After the open house, Elder D. Todd Christofferson will dedicate the temple on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in two sessions (10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. AST). The dedication service will be broadcast to all units in the Salta Argentina Temple district.

Cuernavaca Mexico Temple

This temple will be built on a 5.36-acre site located southeast of the corner of Calle Hernán Cortes and Calle Santa Prisca in Colonia Vista Hermosa, Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 19,000 square feet.
