A new stake has been created from the Aba Nigeria North and the Aba Nigeria Ogbor Hill Stakes. The Aba Nigeria Umuola Stake, which consists of the Umola 1st and 2nd, Waterside 1st and 2nd, and Umueme Wards and the Bible College Road and Mgboko Obete Branches, was created by Elder Marcus B. Nash, General Authority Seventy, and Elder Isaac K. Morrison, an Area Seventy.

A new stake has been created from the Asaba Nigeria District. The Asaba Nigeria Stake, which consists of the Ibusa and Illah Branches and the Asaba 1st, Asaba 2nd, Asaba 3rd, Asaba 4th, and Ugbolu Wards, was created by Elder Larry S. Kacher, General Authority Seventy, and Elder Daniel Yirenya-Tawiah, an Area Seventy.

Vincent Haleck, General Authority Seventy, and Elder Glenn Burgess, an Area Seventy.
