Actress Jane Seymour and genetic genealogy expert CeCe Moore will be keynote speakers at RootsTech 2027, FamilySearch announced Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Jane Seymour is best known for her Golden Globe-winning role in “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.” She is also a philanthropist who in 2010 founded the Open Hearts Foundation, which supports emerging nonprofits through grants and a volunteer program.
CeCe Moore is an internationally recognized DNA investigative expert. Her work features in thousands of articles and TV programs, most notably in the PBS series “Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr.,” where Moore served for 13 seasons as the show’s genetic genealogist.
Additional keynote speakers will be announced at a later date.
