From the Church

Have you seen the newest Gospel Library app update yet?

In his most recent general conference address, President Russell M. Nelson said, “I plead with you today to counter the lure of the world by making time for the Lord in your life—each and every day.”

The newest updates to the Church’s Gospel Library app aims to make it easier than ever to do just that, with new Verse of the Day and Quote of the Day features. These tools can be found on the Home section of the app and include a scripture from the current week’s Come, Follow Me lesson and a quote from the most recent general conference.

Other updates to the Gospel Library app include:

  • The Home section can now be accessed from anywhere in the app from the Home icon at the bottom left of the screen.
  • An Overflow menu can be found by clicking on the three white dots in the top right corner of the screen for History, Language, Settings, and Help functions.
  • Related Content will also appear when the current page or screen has footnotes, personal notes, or other related content.
  • The new Screens feature includes thumbnail representations that make it easier to switch between locations of what you’re currently studying, similar to tabs on a mobile internet browser.

Rob Jex, product manager for the Gospel Library app, told Newsroom, “One of our key areas of focus is helping users learn how to use the app’s functionality to improve their study experiences, and we encourage members to share with one another how they use the app.”
