The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the 2022 statistical report online during the Saturday afternoon session of April 2023 general conference. The statistical report includes a total number of stakes, missions, and temples worldwide.
Total Membership
According to the report, the total number of Church members worldwide as of Dec. 31, 2022, is 17,002,461. This is an increase of 197,061 members (1.01%) since 2021.
Converts Baptized
The number of new members baptized in 2022 was 212,172. This is an increase of 1.26% over 2021.
Full-Time Missionaries
In 2022, the number of full-time missionaries of the Church totaled 62,544. Church service missionaries totaled 29,806.
