On April 25, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Nepal, causing massive destruction and costing the lives of an estimated 4,500 people thus far.
LDS Charities has been in contact with local leaders and partner organizations to assess the need. Initial relief funds have been distributed and continued assessments will determine the best way to administer relief in the short term and in the coming weeks and months.
