Pianist Garth Smith returns with his third full-length album, a collection of fresh, new arrangements of familiar Christ-centered hymns titled Behold the Great Redeemer, Sacred Hymns, Vol. III.

Garth’s new album is available through his website GarthSmithMusic.com, Deseret Book, YourLDSMusicStore.com, and other LDS music outlets. Online downloads are available through  iTunes and Amazon.

Smith’s arrangements manifest his deep understanding of the original works. He has spent time with them pondering and discovering. The resulting close relationship with these songs shines through in his solo recordings, revealing nuances in the emotions they elicit. Smith’s music is soothing and peaceful, and the performance can be just as effective in providing inspirational background music for the home, studying the scriptures, or in a focused listening experience by the user to draw closer to the Savior. The bottom line is this—Smith’s music takes you to a place of serenity, an escape from the world for a moment, and provides the listener with beautiful arrangements that point to the Savior.
