The Ephraim Utah Temple, which was announced by President Russell M. Nelson in May 2021, now has a location and design.

Plans estimate that the new temple will be three stories and approximately 39,000 square feet, built at the intersection of 200 North and 400 East in Ephraim, Utah.

In addition to this temple, the state of Utah has 14 temples in operation, seven under construction, three under renovation, and three more announced. The new temple in Ephraim will serve more than 31,000 Latter-day Saints in the area.

Groundbreaking ceremony details are still forthcoming.

The new temple in Yorba Linda will be a single-story structure of about 30,000 square feet, built at the intersection of Bastanchury Road and Osmond Street. This will be the ninth temple in California, joining the Fresno, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Oakland, Redlands, Sacramento, and San Diego California Temples. The Feather River California Temple in Yuba City is under construction.
