In 2018, the organizers of TOFW received a letter written on hot pink cardstock. To this day, that letter remains on one of the desks of our directors.
In that letter, one woman expressed her love for the Time Out for Women (TOFW) experience and the uplifting messages provided through the presentations. She explained that a recent change in her life circumstances had made it impossible to continue attending the event. She plead for an at-home adaptation of TOFW.
The team at Deseret Book did not forget this letter. It served as a compelling reminder of all those who, due to location or circumstance, are unable to physically attend TOFW. Though we cannot host an event in every city, we are eager to provide all women with the opportunity of gathering together and submersing themselves in positive messages.
In short, we heard the plea, and we are excited to share a special offering as part of TOFW’s 20th anniversary, Glorious Light tour: The Small Gathering package!
