Bekki Hood grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, until she moved to Arizona for her education. Because of her love for writing, teaching, and helping others, she earned a master’s degree in English at Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Idaho State University. She currently works as a counselor in Layton, Utah, and she teaches introductory writing courses at BYU. Dr. Ofa Hafoka Kanuch is of Tongan heritage, born and raised in Hawaii. She is a licensed psychologist at Brigham Young University where she meets with students for individual therapy, teaches classes on Positive Living and Performance Psychology, and is involved in research on racial minorities and mental health. She also has a small private practice. Her clinical work is geared toward individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and racial minority stress. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tuni.
Batchlor Johnson IV has a master’s degree in mass communications from BYU and a bachelors degree in economics from the University of Utah. Batchlor was raised in Houston, Texas, in a family of five. He has a strong love for his Savior and tries to live every day to the fullest because of it.
Courtnie is married to her best friend, Taylor. Together, they have 5 children and a cute mini goldendoodle. Courtnie loves warm beaches, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, opening and closing down the parks at Disneyland, traveling, musicals, babies, and baking cakes. She graduated from BYU with a BFA in Music Dance Theater and has been teaching voice lessons ever since. She also loves teaching fitness classes at local gyms and feels at peace when her house is clean. Although she spends many hours in the car driving her kids to their activities, she loves watching them do what they love. One of the greatest joys in Courtnie’s life has been watching her kids’ testimonies develop and grow.
Beth is married to Rick and has five children, ages 16-23, and she is enjoying this interesting and exciting time of having older teenaged and young adult children. Beth has worked in Human Resources her entire career and currently works for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as the managing director of HR. Beth loves to read, go on walks with friends, and bake on the weekends.
Elder Ahmad S. Corbitt was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2023 general conference. At the time of his call, he had been serving the First Counselor of the Young Men General Presidency. Elder Corbitt has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Puerto Rico San Juan Mission, high councilor, counselor in two stake presidencies, stake president, and president of the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission.
