I meant to post this yesterday, but somehow it got lost in all my travels back to Utah from DC. Yesterday, August 6, was the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. In that nuclear blast, over 60,000 non-combatant men, women, and children were killed. The tragedy that occurred on this day never should have happened. It never needed to happen.
After a vote on a policy change by the Boy Scouts of America National Executive Board to admit openly gay leaders, the Church released a statement saying they were deeply "troubled" and "re-evaluating" their relationship with the Boy Scouts of America.
No matter how far you live from a temple, or how often you're able to attend, having pictures of the temple in your home can bring peace and remind us of the importance of eternal families. These stunning images of temples will help you accept President Nelson's June 8th invitation: “I invite the members of the Church to place on the walls of their homes . . . pictures of the temple."

I know I’ve been called there for a reason, I know the Lord loves me and I can’t wait to tell everyone how much He loves them too.” With a fist punch, she left the podium and returned to her seat. We live in a pretty reserved ward, but I’m sure I heard a few “Hallelujahs” as she walked down the aisle.
This will definitely get you smiling today. It just might even get you busting moves.
Darkness was settling in on the last night of my first month in Yongin, South Korea. What an…interesting…month it had been. I was still a little green, no question about it. Yongin was only my second area. Three different companions in my first three months in the country; and I was about to receive my fourth companion the next day.
Otto Knows, a Swedish DJ and music producer best known for his songs "Parachute" and "Million Voices," recently created a unique, wintry music video that features Lindsey Stirling. Check it out!
It's rare when a politician can mix humor with tears and genuine love while talking about the deadliest shooting in American history. What a great message for all of us to hear and to help us remember to always reach out with love and "appeal to the better angels of our nature."
