In a religion that so constantly emphasizes “knowing”, being faced with the struggle of even believing can be heart-wrenching. We are told in Luke 22 that when we are converted, we should strengthen others. But sometimes we do a crappy job of that, due to misunderstandings and a lack of compassion. President Dieter F. Uchtdorf was called as second counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in February 2008. When we do this, we can know, like Nephi, that the Lord will prepare a way for us to accomplish his purposes as we courageously say, “I will go and do.”
