“Missionary work should begin and end with our minds focused on the blessings of the holy temple,” Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said in an address he titled “Begin with the End in Mind.”
A personal peek into the life of the mother of four girls, artist of eight albums, and author of two books.
I remember growing up and watching LDS commercials on TV. The picture was soft and glowing and the contents often portrayed a happy family spending time together or a selfless service being performed. Then at the end, it would usually say, “From the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.” I never understood why, but those short Mormon commercial spots always left me with a warm, happy feeling inside. I also conducted a workshop in Salt Lake City for the LDS Public Affairs Office on the topic of Catholic Social Thought. It was the first time I had visited BYU since 1992. My hosts–at both BYU and Salt Lake–were delightful. I had a wonderful time.
