Almost everyone has times when they feel like people just don’t like them. It can feel like it’s a few people, but it can also feel like no one likes us. Sometimes we feel rejected out in the world because of our beliefs. Sometimes it happens at Church, where we should feel safe. Sometimes we know of our shortcomings that seem to repel or irritate others, and we’re working on them. Sometimes we can’t figure out what we’re doing wrong.
This week, the Church released a new essay on the historicity and translation of the Book of Abraham. While there is much that we don’t know about this ancient book of scripture, based on the history, there are some things we can deduce from clues in the text itself, contemporary papyri, and eyewitnesses of the papyri:

Teammates, coaches and members of opposing teams shared their condolences and support via Twitter after the news Tuesday morning that Utah football player Gaius “Keio” Vaenuku was one of three killed in a rollover accident near Cuba, N.M. Teammate Salesi Uhatafe was also in the vehicle and was sent to the hospital with minor injuries. Also killed in the accident were Texas A&M defensive tackle Polo Manukainiu, Uhatafe's stepbrother, and Lolo Uhatafe, Salesi Uhatafe's 13-year-old brother.
