Sara and Doug Christensen have been married for nearly 32 years. They went to Junior High and High school together, but only dated after Sara returned from a mission to Portugal. Sara spent several years at BYU, but completed a BA in History at the University of Utah. She runs a business called Jenibee Market with her sister Jeni Gochnour. Sara sells her scented Bluelily Candles and room sprays along with other seasonal crafts at their market and at various outlets along the wasatch front. Sara and Doug enjoy traveling, making food, watching shows, working in the yard, hiking, and playing pickleball together; they enjoy all of the above with their children: Hannah (Brandon), Adelide (Chase), Henry (Kaylie), & Lillie Jane. But above all, they delight in the company of their granddaughters Edith (2) and Posy (6 mo).

Kari Whisenant Howell is a native of Salt Lake City and currently resides in Draper, Utah, with her husband and three children. She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Development from Brigham Young University. She served a Latter-day Saint mission in The Netherlands and Belgium, studied abroad in Jerusalem and she and her family recently returned from living in Tokyo, Japan, for two years. She loves learning from peoples' stories and perspectives. In her free time, Kari loves boating, running, hiking, and hanging out with awesome people. She currently serves with the young women in her ward.

Lyndsey Howell was born and raised in beautiful Bangor, Northern Ireland, a country divided by religion. Her grandparents converted to the Church in the 1960s and she is thankful for their decision to listen to the missionaries. Despite being the only member of the Church through most of her high school years, she is grateful for the opportunity that gave her to develop and defend her testimony to her peers. She is married to the “world’s best home teacher” after they met at their BYU ward and he faithfully visited her every day with offerings of Diet Coke and an eternity of happiness. They are the parents of five children, and call the Pacific Northwest home. She holds a Bachelor of Music from BYU, and especially loves to share her testimony of the gospel through music. Her family is her greatest passion, and she loves spending time with them, whether it be snow skiing, boating, or snuggling together watching movies, eating good food, and making each other laugh until they cry.

Clark is a Husband, Father, and avid cyclist. He definitely married up and has spent the last 15 years trying to catch up to his much better half. He loves spending time with his family and loves traveling. Clark is always in charge of finding the best restaurants and must-see spots on family trips because his track record hasn’t failed him. He loves TV sitcoms and it has become a guilty pleasure when the classics come on — Cheers, Seinfeld, and more recently The Office. Besides just working his life away to grow his career in the Software industry, Clark loves serving in the temple and has done so for the past 7 years. He loves spending time in the scriptures trying to understand how they actually apply to his life. He's thrilled to truly earn his seminary diploma at the hands of his favorite seminary teacher, Sister Uzelac.

Kara is a dedicated disciple of Christ, patient spouse, and ever-loving mother. Her dedication to her family is unparalleled and she strives every day to make sure they all know how much she loves them. Being the mother of Grace is the fulfillment of an eternal dream. Kara has a love for fitness and loves creating yummy vegan dishes for her family. When she isn't taking care of her family or serving in Young Women, you can find her building her business. Kara and her sister co-founded a home decor business in 2020, House of Turnberry. They thoughtfully curate beautiful ribbon sets and pour their hearts into all facets of their business. In those few moments that she has to herself, Kara loves to organize, decorate and be a personal shopper for her friends and family.

For Ed Willis, life was one harsh blow after another. Born into generational poverty within a system that was not designed for the success of Black men, most of his options led to dead ends. But in between jail time, drug addiction, unemployment, the struggles of racism, and family strife, there were brief flashes when the light of Christ touched Ed's heart, instilling in him a desire to know and to be more. He sought meaning and self-worth wherever he could find it—including, for a time, as a member of the Black Panther Party fighting for freedom, racial equality, and underprivileged children in California's Bay Area. But what began as a sincere effort toward a worthy cause would ultimately lead to further involvement with drugs, violence, and relationships in turmoil. But his lifetime of hardship was, in its own way, preparing him to receive the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Neylan McBaine is the co-founder and CEO of Better Days 2020, a non-profit focused on popularizing women’s history in creative and communal ways. She has written or contributed to several books, including her most recent, Pioneering the Vote: The Untold Story of Suffragists in Utah and the West.

Jennifer Bishop Kaufmann was born and raised in Maryland where she developed a love for seafood, life-long friends, and a love for the gospel. She attended Utah Valley State College, then BYU Provo, then BYU Idaho. Jen is married to Reed, whom she met as a counselor at a church camp (EFY). They currently live in Columbus Ohio with their four children. Jennifer is still deciding what she wants to be when she grows up and has dabbled in a bit of everything from health, dance, psychology to communications. Currently, she is a fulltime chauffeur, maid, counselor to teenage girls and puppy wrangler. In addition to those duties, she hopes to keep working her way to being a true disciple of Christ and loving others as He does. Jen also hopes to one day have a full night’s sleep again.
