Connie Xiaohua Zhang was born and raised in Beijing, China. She earned her BA in economics from Beijing University and MBA from Harvard Business School. She is the founder and CEO of Riley River Consultants, established in 2009. She helps North American green technology companies and medical device companies develop business in China. She is a renowned speaker and instructor who teaches about networking and marriage relationships across multiple key Chinese social media platforms. She is the author of Network Up (2019) and How to Raise Socially Intelligent Children (2020). She teaches online courses and gives talks to broad audiences in China about networking. When she Is not cooking at the psychiatric unit where she runs the kitchen, she likes to go on hikes, explore new trails, or read a good book. She loves being an aunt and is blessed to be an important part of the lives of my nieces and nephews. She loves amusement parks, roller coasters, and a good pizza at home. She treasures knowing that she is a daughter of heavenly parents and loved by Jesus. He is her light, hope, and peace.
After a chance meeting with an inspired fellow artist, Kate modified her initial artistic direction to focus on works of inspirational watercolor. With a minimalistic style that conveys powerful family and gospel messages, Kate Lee speaks to us through her art when words are insufficient. Kate and her husband, Mike, live in Utah with their two boys and two dogs.
Caleb Farley grew up in Salt Lake City and served a mission in Sweden. He took off after the mission to live and study at the BYU Jerusalem Center where he traveled across the Near East, made lots of friends, and discovered his true identity as a bible nerd. He finished at BYU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and recently at Utah State with a Master’s degree in psychological science. He’s now finalizing his clinical experience and building a research agenda at USU’s doctoral program in psychology with focuses in mindfulness-based mental health therapy, wellbeing, youth anxiety, and population health change. After finishing school, he wants to work somewhere where he can treat youth mental health, teach college, and publish research. He also loves running, swimming, hiking, good music, good food, reading, and hanging out with lots of friends.
Anna Bromley Andrews was raised in Michigan by a faithful artist mom and an agnostic professor father. Anna decided at a young age she was all in with the church. She graduated from BYU in English education with her dreamy husband, Keith, in 1994. She taught adult education for 10 years, authored an art education program for elementary students and now owns her own interior design firm. She is an enthusiastic mother of 7. In her increasingly diminishing spare time, Anna loves to read, write, sew, hike and travel.
