Elder L. Tom Perry’s service in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II was recognized at a formal reception, dinner and program on Saturday evening, Nov. 9 in downtown Salt Lake City. Elder Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve and his wife, Sister Barbara D. Perry, were honored guests at the 238th Marine Corps Birthday Ball, hosted by Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines.

Steffen Bronson works at times sorting through donated items and other times he's going through the store at 1415 N. State making sure everything is put on the shelves in just the right place. But on Tuesday, while he was in the shoe section, he noticed something interesting.
