Rachel Cool is a freelance writer and editor. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in public relations, where she later worked as an adjunct professor in the School of Communications. She also has experience as a public relations, news, and internet marketing writer. When she’s not reading a good mystery book, Rachel loves playing at the lake with her husband, two kids, and dog.

Jennete has several passions in her life. Her Love for her Savior, her family, animals and the New York Yankees. She loves plants and flowers and can often be found outside working in her many flowerbeds. Jennete has many hobbies including shopping and interior design. She even has a deep love for music despite her inability to sing or play any type of musical instrument. Jennete is the mother of 5 girls and is currently serving as the 1st counselor in her ward relief society presidency.

Joel Sawat Selway is half-Thai, half-English from West Sussex, England. His middle name means good fortune in Thai. He is a professor of political science at BYU and has published widely on ethnicity, nationalism, and global health. He speaks Thai, Greek, and French. Joel has four children.

Taylor is married to Courtnie and he's thankful every day she agreed to marry him. They met while they were both at BYU in the same ward and have been married for almost 20 years. Taylor used to have hobbies and now he has five amazing kids who take up any spare time he used to have. He is an executive recruiter by profession and loves the work he's able to do. When he does get away, he loves traveling, watching sports, attending movies, eating chocolate, and Courtnie has helped him find a love for musicals. His testimony of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and His gospel have been the guideposts in his life and he's so grateful that God is willing to be involved in his and his family members' lives.

Jenna Alton is a freelance writer and editor who lives in Utah County with her family. She graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University, where she studied journalism. But her proudest accomplishment is being a mother to her two young children. If you need her, you can probably find her in the mountains or at a thrift store.

After a chance meeting with an inspired fellow artist, Kate modified her initial artistic direction to focus on works of inspirational watercolor. With a minimalistic style that conveys powerful family and gospel messages, Kate Lee speaks to us through her art when words are insufficient. Kate and her husband, Mike, live in Utah with their two boys and two dogs.

Caleb Farley grew up in Salt Lake City and served a mission in Sweden. He took off after the mission to live and study at the BYU Jerusalem Center where he traveled across the Near East, made lots of friends, and discovered his true identity as a bible nerd. He finished at BYU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and recently at Utah State with a Master’s degree in psychological science. He’s now finalizing his clinical experience and building a research agenda at USU’s doctoral program in psychology with focuses in mindfulness-based mental health therapy, wellbeing, youth anxiety, and population health change. After finishing school, he wants to work somewhere where he can treat youth mental health, teach college, and publish research. He also loves running, swimming, hiking, good music, good food, reading, and hanging out with lots of friends.

Sarah Collins is a podcast producer, writer, and content creator for Deseret Book. Despite listening to podcasts all day for work, her favorite pastime is listening to a podcast while driving in the car. Sarah would pick Diet Dr Pepper over Diet Coke any day, and she prefers it with a large fry after running a big race. An avid reader and music enthusiast, she dreams of spending a day with none other than Taylor Swift. Sarah is from Lindon, Utah, and for her the best day ever is spent on a hike with her dog.
