Emily Cushing was raised in South Jordan, Utah, and met her husband in their middle school math class. Her love of learning led her to become a teacher. She earned a master’s degree in teaching and learning at Brigham Young University and has taught, among other places, in Tonga, Myrtle Beach, and England. She currently teaches in the Education Department at Utah Valley University. She enjoys reading, running, traveling, living in foreign places, and, above all, spending time with her family.
Cole has been doing podcasts and radio since high school and is excited to now be doing it for LDSLiving. His hobbies include sports, movies, board games, and listening to podcasts about sports, movies, and board games. He grew up an only child, which was never notable enough to put in a bio until he moved to Utah. His dream is to make it to Jeopardy! someday, not necessarily win, but just make it. Erin Amata is a licensed clinical social worker for Development Counseling Services and has helped many individuals in both Utah and California with depression, anxiety, abuse, and neurodivergence. She currently lives in Utah with her husband and 4-year-old boy, where playtime is constant. Erin thrives when she can travel to warm places, spend quality time with loved ones, and be active in any way.
Gaylamarie Rosenberg is an adjunct professor in the Department of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University. She earned a BS in elementary education and a MS degree in family sciences/family life education and human development from BYU. She has been teaching classes on relationships and religion since 1991 and currently teaches the Eternal Family course. She is the author of “Our Savior from Self-Doubt,” a book focused on the power of positive psychology and our ability to overcome feelings of self-doubt through the love and strength of Jesus Christ. She has enjoyed assignments on the BYU Women’s Conference Committee and participated as a member in the BYU-Public School Partnership. Gaylamarie and her husband, John, are the parents of two daughters, a son-in-law, and 2 grand-dogs.
Nicole Beal grew up in Utah County and now lives in Cumming, Georgia. She attended Utah Valley University. She loves to write, from poems and stories to potential books. She has a beautiful family with a loving husband, two sons, and a new daughter-in-law. Along with writing, she enjoys being with and teaching the youth of the Church, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
