Monica was born and raised in Mexico. She went to college and received her bachelor's degree in Education. She worked as an Operations Manager for an international communications company until age 28 when she decided to serve a full-time mission. She served in Sinaloa, Mexico. Upon returning she moved to the U.S., Monica got a certification to teach abroad, and moved to China where she met the love of her life and got married. Currently, she and her husband live in Suzhou, China. She works at an international school teaching languages as she stills considers teaching one of her long-time passions. Her experience in China has been one of a kind: A compassionate, expanding, and healing journey in which feeling uncomfortable has taught her to see, act and love just as Jesus would do.
Aliah Hall-Eggington is a California transplant living here in Utah with her husband and two children. She loves the mountains but misses the ocean with all her heart. Aliah served a mission in Panama on a small island that made her feel right at home. Aliah is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in marriage and trauma, with those topics sometimes overlapping. She loves being “outdoorsy” (as long as she doesn't need gear to do so), is a self-care advocate, and runs more for her mental health than physical health. She loves that Lord and the gospel.
Becky is an eternal optimist and nothing makes her more excited than acquiring an “as seen on TV” product that promises a life-changing experience or believing in a nutritional supplement that will alter her health drastically. She loves spending time with her family, hiking, golfing and eating delicious food. She and her niece run a company teaching mindfulness and self-compassion to families, children, and adults. She has seen that practicing self-compassion alleviates stress, depression, and anxiety and builds better skills for learning emotional responsibility. She loves the gospel of Jesus Christ and knows that the truth of it has set her free.
