Heidi A. Smith works for the Church Education System and currently teaches Institute at Ensign College. She earned a Juris Doctor and Master of Accounting from the University of Utah and received a bachelor’s degree in Deaf Studies from Utah Valley University.
Joy grew up in Moab, Utah, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Joe Martin. They have been married for 30 years and have 4 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, and one granddaughter. Joy loves spending time with them visiting, laughing, and eating delicious food. She is grateful for the knowledge that her Savior knows her, loves her, and meets her where she is.
Brian Warburton is a historian in the Church History Department where he works on the Public History Team. He has degrees in history from Brigham Young University and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He loves making history accessible and approachable to the general public. Some recent examples of projects Brian has helped make accessible to the public are a forensic study of John Taylor’s pocket watch and returning the Hummer Bell (formerly misidentified as the Nauvoo Bell) to the First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City. Brian loves sports, nature, gardening, animals, and spending time with his two daughters and wonderful wife, Jill Warburton.
Haidee Armstrong is a daughter of the covenant. She served a mission in Pocatello, Idaho and a service mission in Denver, Colorado. She is a BYU graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering. During her time at BYU she became a research assistant for Dr. Donald Parry studying Biblical Hebrew. She loves all things pertaining to the gospel as well as Legos, The Lord of the Rings, country swing dancing, and hiking. In fact, she is often known to combine her love of Legos and hiking by doing Lego photography on the mountaintops. Firm in her faith, she believes that the Lord is good at ruining expectations, but is even better at making the outcome greater than imaginable.
Whitney is a student at Brigham Young University in Provo. She is currently an undergraduate studying in the Ancient Near Eastern Studies program with an emphasis in Biblical Hebrew and quite literally spends most of her time diving into the Old Testament. Whitney can confidently say that choosing this field of study is one of the best decisions she has ever made because her relationship with the Savior has fundamentally changed for the better.
Tyler Castleton is a songwriter, music producer and composer whose songs and arrangements have appeared on hundreds of albums, including award-winning projects by Marie Osmond, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Gladys Knight, The Jets, country music superstar Martina McBride, and dozens of pop and Christian recording artists. Tyler has served twice as the Director of Music at Deseret Book & Shadow Mountain Records in Salt Lake City and has taught as an adjunct faculty member in the commercial music programs at both Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University. He has been blessed to be a part of the music careers of many LDS artists including Hilary Weeks, Michael McLean, Cherie Call, Mercy River and Jericho Road, and has written and produced music for the Church’s Especially for Youth albums for more than 25 years. Based in Utah, Tyler works frequently in Nashville, TN, which he considers his second home. The proud father of 3 grown kids, he teaches Sunday School and plays the organ in the temple, his favorite calling ever.
Diana Angulo is a classically trained musician born in Mexico and alumni from BYU-Idaho. She’s worked as a piano accompanist and a music translator for artists such as Shawna Edwards, Angie Killian, among others. Nowadays, she writes music alongside Allie Gardner for their duet, “Armonía”. She also runs a social media account @_vivirelvangelio where she talk about LDS culture and Come, Follow Me insights in Spanish.
Mindy is a Utah native, born and raised in Cottonwood Heights. She is married to her favorite person, Ken Larsen, and together they have enjoyed 37 fun‑filled years. For the past 28 years, they have lived in what she jokingly refers to as “Zion” (South Jordan).
