"The doctrine of this church doesn’t lose people. It’s the culture and superstition that causes unnecessary strife."
I am grateful for this small answer the Lord gave me that ended up being the big answer to my desire to “Live unto the Lord."
Raise your hand if you saw the Lifetime movie based on Prince William and Kate Middleton? I’m totally raising mine right now, and am proud of it! I have no idea why, but I am so ridiculously intrigued by this whole royal wedding thing. Is it the inner girl in me who wishes I could be in Kate’s shoes (and hats), or am I more in love with Prince William than I thought? Either way, I’m giddy for Friday. It was: ‘I'm going to give this up, and I know whatever happens will be the best for me.’”
Is there such a thing as a "Mormon face?" The LDS ad campaign, "I'm a Mormon," seems to think so. A Mormon face may come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors, but it's always fresh, alert, trusting and warm. Just as President Gordon B. Hinckley said the LDS "brand," if you will, could be found in the lives of those who belong to it, the "public face" of Mormonism shows up in the visage of each individual member.
