The Malaysian Latter-day Saint youth are model examples of gospel faithfulness. Many youth live in small apartments or terrace homes. Some live in pieced-together wood structures built in areas of Bintulu with no electrical service or waste water systems. They use generators for electricity or candles if necessary for light (generators and gas are expensive). Water is supplied from a network of small hoses fed off a main line from the highway. Water is also stored in barrels. Bathing with water from barrels can be challenging.However, when they show up to Church, they are wearing their Sunday best.

It was just more than a year ago that Amazon.com announced that electronic book (e-book) sales had surpassed paperback book sales on its website. It stated that for every 100 paperback books sold, 105 e-books were purchased. Joining the e-book revolution, Deseret Book launched Deseret Bookshelf in June 2011. It's a free e-reader app for Apple and Android mobile devices that not only allows you to read e-books, but also access Deseret Book's library of nearly 1,500 digital titles for purchase.
Brigham Young University announced Thursday, August 14, that students applying for spring 2021 through winter 2022 will not have to submit their ACT/SAT scores as part of their application for general admission into the university. The decision comes as the result of limited availability of test options due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If a student would like to submit their scores for consideration in their application, they may do so, but the test scores are no longer required. Applications for spring, summer, and fall 2021 will be available beginning August 26.
