This conference has been inspiring and uplifting in so many ways. From the announcement about the new home-study programto the announcement of 12 new temples, this weekend has been incredibly spiritual.
Have you ever visited a place where everyone spoke a different language than you? Even if a place is beautiful, not being able to communicate makes it very difficult to enjoy being there.
Pianika Duncan is a mother of two and a Latter-day Saint from a small town called Ngaruawahia in New Zealand. She wrote a song called "Bring Mana to Your Name," which was inspired by her love for family history. Duncan explains the word "Mana" means pride and strength. She incorporates Maori, the native language of New Zealand, and English into the song.
I am going to include an article written by Elder McConkiehere as an introduction. I recommend that you read it along with these materials. It is wonderful. Some of the concepts will be repeated in the lesson I have written, but the “second witness” will be worth the double exposure. It is called, “The Story of a Prophet’s Madness.” It was published in April 1972 in the New Era. The beginning of the article is shared here, but the complete article can be found on lds.org.
This article was originally published on Joy Madsen's Facebook page and was published on ldsliving.com with the permission of Joy Madsen.

King Benjamin taught that we should “teach [our children] to walk in the ways of truth . . . to love one another, and to serve one another” (Mosiah 4:15). Primary is the perfect place for our children to learn gospel truths and to practice loving and serving each other, but it can be hard for children to focus on the gospel when they’re distracted or not ready to learn. The key to making the most of their experience at church is to prepare, prepare, prepare. You can help your children get more out of Primary by preparing them physically, spiritually, and as a family.
Rosemary Wixom is with us again! Through her example, personal experiences, and interactions with others, Sister Wixom shows us that when we prioritize our time in the temple, even when time seems like the only thing we don't have enough of in our lives, the blessings are immeasurable. She shares how she learned the truth of this promise from President Nelson: "The Lord will bring the miracles He knows you need as you make sacrifices to serve and worship in His temples.” This episode is one that leaves us inspired and feeling emboldened to spend more time in the temple, either as regular temple workers or through more frequent temple worship.
This adorable song will help children (and adults) remember the power of daily scripture study.
