Dragonwatch 2 Debuts as New York Times #1 Bestseller; Listen to Podcast Interview with Author Brandon Mull

Brandon Mull reclaimed his place among New York Times bestselling authors last week as the sequel in the Dragonwatch series, Dragonwatch: Wrath of the Dragon King, debuted at the top of the Children’s Middle Grade Hardcover chart. The book topped Wonder, which has spent 168 weeks on the list, as well as several other more recent releases.

Deciding what to name a stuffed animal, a doll, or a pet is usually a pretty fun thing to do. In those situations, the stakes are low and imaginations can run freely. This week we will dig into Doctrine and Covenants 115–120 where the Lord reveals the name He decided on for the Church in this dispensation. What the Tongan people taught the Grobergs about serving others regardless of religion

When emeritus General Authority Seventy Elder John H. Groberg was just a young man from a farming community in Idaho, he was called to be a missionary in Tonga. Little did he know at the time that he would later write his own book about his missionary experiences, which would eventually be turned into a successful film, The Other Side of Heaven. The movie’s sequel, Fire of Faith tells the story of Elder Groberg’s return to Tonga with his wife, Jean, and his children after being called as mission president. On this week’s episode, All In host Morgan Jones talks with Elder and Sister Groberg about the spiritual lessons they learned from the Tongan people. They specifically discuss the way they were ministered unto by the entire Tongan nation when their new baby became sick.

10: “Thy Faith Hath Saved Thee” (Matthew 8, Mark 2-4, Luke 7)

The famed poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once penned the beautiful words, “Be still, sad heart! and cease repining; Behind the cloud is the sun still shining; Thy fate is a common fate of all, Into each life some rain must fall.” Longfellow is right—rain comes at different times to all of us. But his words also remind us that behind the clouds, the sun is always still shining. In this week’s lesson in Matthew 8, Mark 2–4, and Luke 7, we’ll read about when a tempest caught Jesus’s disciples unaware. And we’ll see that just as the physical sun always still shining, so too is the Son of God always there for us.
