One of several historical sites recently acquired by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the site that was once the cemetery or burial grounds of Far West, Caldwell County, Mo. The site was previously owned by the Community of Christ. It is located about a mile northwest of the Far West Temple site where the original cornerstones of the temple are still situated and visible.
