Sister Bingham: When You Open Your Heart to Members Who Seem Different, You'll Find We All Belong

"When we don't get outside ourselves . . . we miss out on the richness of life that other people bring," Sister Jean B. Bingham, first counselor in the Primary general presidency, shares in this video posted by Mormon Newsroom. "Someone might say, 'I don't have a need for other people,' but maybe they have a need for you."

This video is one in a powerful video series released by the Mormon Channel in which Church leaders speak directly to members who feel ostracized and like they do not belong in the Church.

Their overall message: You are loved. You are needed. And Church members should extend their love, empathy, and support to others, regardless of perceived differences.
