The location of the future Otavalo Ecuador Temple—one of three Latter-day Saint temples announced under church President Dallin H. Oaks’ leadership—has officially been determined.

The Otavalo Ecuador Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was first announced less than six months ago on May 14 during a devotional for local church members.

Of the three temples that have been announced under President Oaks’ leadership so far, the Otavalo temple was the first international one and is the first to have a site map released.

The Portland Maine and Marysville Washington temples announced under President Oaks remain in planning and design stages.
